The Cooperation Group is an EU advisory body of Member State and Commission representatives that coordinates implementation of European Digital Identity Wallets, eID schemes, and trust services across borders.
Under Article 46e(1) of Regulation (EU) No 910/2014 as amended by eIDAS 2.0, the Cooperation Group (European Digital Identity Cooperation Group) is the EU level advisory body composed of representatives of the Member States and the European Commission that supports and facilitates cross border cooperation and information exchange on European Digital Identity Wallets, notified electronic identification schemes, and trust services, including by exchanging best practices, advising on implementing and delegated acts, supporting supervisory bodies, organising peer reviews, and contributing to the common Union toolbox for digital identity.
